I was inspired to create this blog after reading a post on a blog that I like regarding the fear of death. Now, the blog's creator is a Christian, as, it seems, are most of her readers. I don't imagine she'd attack me for my thoughts, she doesn't seem the type. However, I'm not sure about her other followers, and so my comment on her post read a little bit something like this:
Well, this will make me a pariah that everyone will throw sticks and stones at, but I'm good at that. The only thing that makes sense to me with the whole death and what happens beyond it, other than non-existence following the death of the body, is reincarnation. Because energy doesn't ever cease to exist, it simply transmutes into another form. It's sort of like a radio wave. When a given transmitter "dies," the radio wave does not cease to exist, but finds another transmitter to operate through.
Now, let the throwing of sticks and stones begin.
